Roy Wolf was always a hard worker.  Since 14 years old he was truck driving in Iowa (which must have been legal back then). Roy had family in Wisconsin, and when he was 18 he went to live in Theresa, WI with his relatives.  In 1938, Roy and Laura (nee: Trott) were united in marriage in Hartford, Wisconsin and a few years later, they moved to Slinger, Wisconsin where Roy became a Standard Oil Agent in 1941. In these times, Standard Oil provided a territory for its agents and Roy was successful at growing the business.  In the 1950s Edward (Ed), Roys son joined the business. Eds role, as it was back then in business, was a jack of all trades. Ed held many tasks from truck driving to burner service repair.  In 1962, Ed married Minette (nee: Sprehn) and they had 4 children through the years, Linette, Eddie (Jr.), Craig & Colette. Roy decided to retire in 1970 and Ed became the new agent and in 1976, Edward H. Wolf & Sons, became incorporated. Through the years, Edward and Minette worked closely together in their business successfully growing the business.  In 1986, Edward H. Wolf & Sons, Inc. corporate office moved to the Slinger, Wisconsin, from Ackerville. The office today is in the once abandoned railroad depot which was remodeled to fit the current business needs.  1988 marked a year which would chart the course for the company. Craig finished his business degree and joined the company, at which Colette also finished her post high school education. Colette would later join the company in 1996 as part of the administrative team.  In 2003 Edward H. Wolf & Sons, Inc. acquired Tilot Oil in Green Bay Wisconsin, in addition it also put on an extensive addition to the Slinger office.  2005 marked an end of an era-Edward and Minette "officially" retired from the company and Craig and Colette acquired the business. Today, Craig and Colette run the day to day operations of the business and are building a strong foundation for the 4th generation of Wolfs to take the reigns of the business.
