Development The Development team is actively pursuing new opportunities to expand Leeward’s portfolio including new projects and acquisitions in wind, solar, and battery storage.  Our existing sites are being analyzed and prepped to take advantage of market opportunities as they present themselves by way of redevelopment, expansion and repowering.  In the first quarter of 2017 Leeward completed the acquisition of Highland Wind which is a 102 MW wind project under development in St. Croix County, WI.
